Welcome to Mothers and Maidens of Virtue! Being a keeper at home is the most special task and privilege a woman can have. The older women are instructed to teach the younger women to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Titus 2:5. This website was designed to give guidelines, encouragement and ideas; with some general hints and tips for the keeper at home.

CHRISTAIN HERITAGE MOTHER DAUGHTER TEA!

Last month my mother and I went to a Mother/Daughter Tea on Friday the 18TH.
Mrs. Brown and her two daughters (Blaire and Claudia) spoke.

I would like to share with you a few things that I learned at the tea.

In the first session Mrs. Brown told us that the woman was created to be a help meet for the man in Genesis 2:18-24. Mrs. Brown also told us about the Proverbs 31 woman. In Proverbs 31:27 the Bible tells us that she looketh well to the ways of her household; and that she eateth not the bread of idleness. In Proverbs 31:28 her children rise up and call her blessed.
The Proverbs 31 woman is a wonderful example for ladies to follow who are, or want to be, keepers at home.
Blaire and Claudia told us how they served their family in the home. Claudia said that daughters should make their mother their best counselor; to always trust her with all our troubles. When you tell her your troubles, she will try and give you counsel and encourage you in your walk with the Lord.

In the second session Mrs. Brown told us that we should have the law of kindness on our lips. In other words that we should speak kindly to others, in or out of our families.

I really enjoyed the tea and being with my dear mother.
I am very grateful to God that I was brought up in a godly, christian home and that my mom was lead by the Lord to teach me how to be a keeper at home.

At the tea there were friends, fellowship, tea and food, but most importantly there was your mother.

Here are some passages that Mrs. Brown gave:

Proverbs 31:10-31,
Genesis 2:18-24,
and
Titus 2:3-5
