Come Join the Mothers and Maidens of Virtue for an Encouraging Mother and Daughter Tea/Event in Lynden, WA!

The Maxwell ladies from Titus 2 Ministries (Titus2.com) will provide two sessions: Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit and Keepers at Home.

Time will be allowed between sessions for fellowship and refreshments. Although there is no charge for this event, love offering boxes will be located on the book tables to help with the Maxwell's traveling expenses.

WELCOME

Welcome to Mothers and Maidens of Virtue.

We are ladies who love God and want to serve Him; trusting in Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit as our guide.
We encourage wives and daughters to support their husband's and father's vision, rather than having an independent vision of their own. We can do this with a cheerful, gentle and quiet spirit as we trust in the Lord's strength.

We pray that God will raise up the men in our families, (fathers and sons), to be strong spiritual leaders of their families. Women are needed in the home to make it a haven of rest, a place of hospitality, outreach, comfort, encouragement, nourishment, support, teaching/training, worship, discipline, ministry, industry and discipleship. The home is the foundation of society. We as ladies need to be there to manage and guide it. Make your home joyful.

We need to support and encourage our men to be the leaders by looking to them for leadership. Fathers must protect, provide and defend, wives and daughters should welcome that and be grateful for it. Let's show them gratefulness every day. Satan wants to destroy this vision, we need to be daily prayer warriors.

We have been having a gathering called Maiden Training with a group of mothers and daughters who want to be in the home living out God's design for women. These gatherings are designed to encourage one another in being feminine contented keepers at home.

For the last two years our group has been hosting a Mother/Daughter tea in May. It has been a blessing to have the Bradrick ladies and the Craig ladies speak at our teas.

Last year our group watched Return Of the Daughters for our first meeting of the season. This year we are starting the season with the DVD, by the Botkin sisters, called What is Biblical Femininity? Cultivating STURDY VIRTUE in Today's DAUGHTERS. As you read this blog there will be incites from the mothers and daughters in our group and you will have a glimpse of what God is teaching us.

There will also be encouraging poems and songs.

Lord, Help us to be strong corner stones in our homes; and our men to be strong spiritual leaders. Amen.
