Welcome to Mothers and Maidens of Virtue! Being a keeper at home is the most special task and privilege a woman can have. The older women are instructed to teach the younger women to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Titus 2:5. This website was designed to give guidelines, encouragement and ideas; with some general hints and tips for the keeper at home.

Mothers and Maidens Meeting is Coming Up!

We hope you will be able to join us at the Lynden Library meeting room between 1:30 and 2:00, on Friday, Nov. 6. We will be watching "Homestead Blessings: The Art of Herbs." Featuring The West Ladies.....Offering practical insight into storage, seasoning, tonics and much more, this DVD will teach you the many ways to use herbs and the very practical benefits they provide.

Learn about:

Identifying herbs
Easy herbs to grow
Storing herbs
Herb butters
Teas
Vinegars
Health tonics ...and much more!

We will also talk about the importance of nurturing others for the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom. Please bring your Bible, notebook and pen. You may also like to bring your handwork. We will be having a refreshment time and you are welcome to bring a plate of finger foods, if you would like to. You may also bring a teapot, teacups and plates for the ladies in your family; but we will have disposable plates and cups, too. It would be nice to post on the Mothers and Maidens of Virtue blog at least once a week. If you have anything that you would like to be posted, please send it to mothersandmaidensofvirtue@gmail.com. If you would like to sign up to give a testimony of how God has worked in your life, (especially in the area of being a Titus 2 'keeper at home'), please send an e-mail to the above address. We hope to see you on Friday!

Cynthia and Krista V.
